In Japan, the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon Alola Art Book was a pre-order incentive. Official illustrations are included inside, along with special pictures of concept art. These images show characters, locations, and more.

Here’s a look at the various concept art:

I believe this art was also included in the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon: Official Strategy Guide Collector’s Vault. The images may have been a part of the standard/collector’s guides as well, but I can’t say for certain as I don’t have access to those.

We first heard about plans for a figma of Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates at WonderCon Festival a few months ago. Seemingly from some sort of scan, the first image is attached above.

Corrin’s figma has not yet been dated. Max Factory will presumably have it ready sometime in mid to late 2017.

When the DS was initially introduced during E3 2004, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime walked out on stage with hardware that looked different from the final design. The big differences between the initial model and the one at launch are the shoulder buttons.

Now we have a better look at the DS prototype thanks to Evan Amos, who unearthed a few photos from Nintendo’s FCC filing. We’ve rounded them up below. Since this was only a filing, it doesn’t look quite as “nice” as the model shown at E3 all those years ago.
