Assault Android Cactus still doesn’t have a release date on Wii U, but it’s now slated for Q1 2016 based on what’s written in the description of the YouTube video. That release window applies to all console versions.

Plenty of beta footage of Lost Reavers has been posted online today. We’ve rounded up a few videos below.

Zombie Defense footage

Teyon is bringing Zombie Defense to the European Wii U eShop today, with North America following soon. You’ll find a video showing off the title below.

There’s been lots of Ace Attorney-related news lately since the next mainline game was announced this week. However, the latest spin-off title, The Great Ace Attorney, is still trucking along in Japan. Today marks the release of its eighth and final round of DLC. The eighth issue of Randst Magazine contains the following:

– a short episode with Sherlock Holmes on trial
– Nintendo 3DS Theme featuring Kazuma Asougi
– concept-art for the characters Episode 3 and 5
– Behind the Scenes video for the game’s sound effects
– beta music for Naruhodou Ryuunosuke

The most interesting thing about it, however, is that it also includes this message from Shu Takumi, basically the creator of the whole Ace Attorney franchise:

great ace attorney shu takumi 2

“London, at the turn of the 20th century…
I hope you enjoyed your great turnabout voyage.
The team is looking forward to the day we can meet you again in Ryuunosuke’s next adventure.”

(all credit to Court-Records for the translation)

Does this mean a sequel to The Great Ace Attorney is in the works? We don’t know for sure, but it’s definitely a possibility. Sadly, a Western release for a possible sequel seems pretty unlikely, given that Capcom seems to have no plans to localize the first one.

Nintendo has opened up its official Super Mario Maker website. You can check it out here.

It’s nothing spectacularly new if you’ve been following the game’s coverage in the last couple of months, but it’s a nice overview of the game’s features.

NintenDaan has taken a look at Bike Rider Ultra DX. Check out his video below:

Bandai Namco’s mysterious new free-to-play game formerly known as Project Treasure, which was recently revealed as Lost Reavers, has now released the Beta for players in Japan to try. The free-to-play Wii U exclusive has you and other players attempting to reach the end of dungeons with a specific set of skills dependent on your character while collecting treasures along the way. You can read up more on the various characters and watch its brand new trailer here.

No word yet on when or if we’ll be seeing this Beta make its way over to the west.

Thanks Niels for the heads up!

Leading up to Super Mario Maker’s release on Sept. 11th, we’re highlighting some of the coolest, most creative, or just plain ridiculous levels users have created so far. In this episode, we check out the level “The Great Goomba March” from Dalagonash in the UK, who piles in more goombas per square foot than we’ve ever seen in a Mario level!

Let us know if you have any suggestions for levels we should cover in the comments and we’ll check it out!
