Nintendo confirmed earlier today that The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will be launching in Europe on October 23. Nintendo of America has since followed up with its own announcement, and we now know that the 3DS game will be arriving in the states on the same day. Head past the break for the full press release.

Just Dance 2016 is seeing a double dose of reveals at Gamescom 2015.

First, Ubisoft announced a new lip-syncing-focused mode known as “Showtime”. Here’s how it works:

The new Showtime mode will allow players to unleash their inner star by creating unique music videos of themselves performing. Players lip-sync and perform along to hit songs in the game and the video footage is then turned into a fun shareable music video. The music videos pull in both creative visual elements and pop cultural references— each song will have a distinctive and visually original atmosphere. A Wii U Gamepad is required to play this mode.

We also have several new tracks that are now confirmed for the game:

• “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea Ft. Charli XCX
• “Fun” by Pitbull Ft. Chris Brown
• “Lights” by Ellie Goulding
• “I’m An Albatraoz” by AronChupa
• “Circus” by Britney Spears
• “Balkan Blast Remix” from Angry Birds
• “Stuck On A Feeling” by Prince Royce
• “Boys (Summertime Love)” by The Lemon Cubes
• “Rabiosa” by Shakira Ft. El Cata

Just Dance 2016 will be released on October 20 in North America and October 23 in Europe.

Earlier today, we posted a video from Nintendo of Europe which showcased several upcoming indie titles. Thanks to the sizzle reel, we have confirmation about two new Wii U games.

Limbo and Zombie Vikings will both be making their way to the eShop. Limbo had been previously leaked by a rating from the USK while Zombie Vikings was always a possibility for the platform but had not been confirmed.

In just a few hours from now, Nintendo will be bringing out Splatoon’s major 2.0.0 update. But a couple of new weapons will be added to the game as well.

Nintendo will be introducing the “Barrel Spinner” as well as the “Bucket Splosher”. Screenshots and translated tweets about each are posted below.

On the 6th of August 11am Japan time, the new weapon “Barrel Spinner” = Splatling will be added.

This will be the standard Spinner type weapon, where a charging mechanic allows it to have better range and fire rate than regular shooter type weapons.

Its sub will be Splash Wall, and its special will be Inkstrike.

At the same time, the new weapon “Bucket Slosher” will be added. It will be able to spread a lot of ink in a line, while bypassing obstacles and height differences for the purposes of attacking an opponent.

It will have the Splat Burst Bomb as sub, and Inkstrike as special.

Nintendo has announced the North American release dates for several new amiibo.

The 30th Anniversary Mario Classic Color, Zero Suit Samus, Ganondorf, Olimar, Bowser Jr., and Dr. Mario are all arriving on September 11. There will also be a Retro 3 Pack on September 25 featuring R.O.B., Duck Hunt, and Mr. Game & Watch.

Nintendo says that “details about availability and pre-order schedules for these figures will be announced directly from various retailers in the near future.” This is speculation on my part, but it sounds like you’ll need to grab the Retro 3 Pack from GameStop if you’re interested in R.O.B., Duck Hunt, and Mr. Game & Watch come September 25.

Finally, Nintendo shared an update on the Mii Fighters. Previously announced for September, they’ll now be arriving sometime in November as a 3 pack. Nintendo will also announce details about launch plans for the 30th Anniversary Mario Modern Color amiibo in North America in the future.
