Check out the latest events in Dragalia Lost:

  • Lucky letters arrived in Dragalia Lost on Dec. 24, 10 PM PT. Test your luck in the new year! If you collect lucky letters and log in after Dec. 31, 10 PM PT, you can get randomly selected items. The items that you get from this bonus, lucky letters, can get you prizes in the lucky letters raffle. Don’t forget to log in every day!
  • A limited-time event revival, A Sweeping Retrospective, started Dec. 24, 10 PM PT! Play event-specific quests to get drop rewards and aim to complete endeavors to get rewards like lucky letters!

Pokemon Unite

Tencent, Timi Studios, and The Pokemon Company continue to move forward with Pokemon Unite, the upcoming strategic team battle game. It’s been announced that a closed beta will be held next month – though only in China. At least for now, similar plans haven’t been announced for other regions.

Pokemon Unite does not have a release window at present. When the game is finished, it’ll be released on Switch and mobile.

Lilina: Firelight Leader has been announced as the next Legendary Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes. Several other characters will be appearing during the same event.

A few days into January 2021, Pokemon GO will be hosting a Unova Celebration event. There are a few different aspects planned, including the possibility of encountering a Shiny Snivy.

  • The automatic update to version 2.3.0 of Dragalia Lost was applied around Dec. 22, 7 PM PT. We will be sending all players a Tenfold Summon Voucher to celebrate the update!
  • Past raid events were added to the event compendium on Dec. 22, 10 PM PT! If you missed them the first time around, this is your chance to check out their stories and recruit event-exclusive adventurers! Both Forgotten Truths and Fractured Futures have become available.
  • The Time Attack Challenges event arrived in Dragalia Lost on Dec. 22, 10 PM PT! Check the latest standings in-game or on the official website.
  • The final Alberian Battle Royale of 2020 started Dec. 22, 10 PM PT, and will continue through the new year until Jan. 5, 2021, 9:59 PM PT! Enjoy a 16-person battle and collect battle points to exchange for adventurer skins and items!

Pokemon GO

With just a little over a week remaining in December (and 2020), Niantic is starting to look ahead to next month for Pokemon GO. A blog post has outlined the many different events planned for January 2021 involving the Research Breakthrough encounter, five-star raids and Mega Raids, and more.

Pokemon GO is ending 2020 – and starting 2021 – with a New Year’s event. There’ll be Pokemon wearing festive costumes, Slowpoke wearing 2020 glasses in the wild, and more.

Fire Emblem Heroes is in the midst of its holiday celebrations, with a little extra help from Hilda. Check out what’s happening here:

  • Where to start? Oh! Looks like this week’s Coliseum is active from Dec. 21, 11 PM PT, to Dec. 28, 2:59 PM PT! Take on Resonant Battles to earn Divine Codes (Part 1), Dragonflowers (C), and other stuff!
  • Bonus titles for the next Resonant Battles season starting Dec. 28 are Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. So, get out there and prep your team for battle! What’s that? You’re already on it? Well…good!
  • Don’t forget to protect Askr from Thórr’s advancing army in Mjölnir’s Strike! You can earn lots of rewards from this event, including Trait Fruit, Dragonflowers, Midgard Gems, and Divine Codes (Part 1). The Counter phase starts tomorrow at 11:00 PM PT!
    • Hall of Forms is coming Dec. 23, 11 PM PT! Who do you want to shape and guide through the Hall of Forms? No one from Fódlan, I see…

Niantic today announced that Machop will be featured as the next Pokemon for Pokemon GO Community Day. The event will be held on January 16, 2021.

Here’s some additional information:

Dragalia Lost’s newest content has gone live: a facility event revival of A Dash of Disaster and a flame-attuned Platinum Showcase.

A Dash of Disaster gives players the opportunity to unlock the Hungerdome. The Hungerdome is a facility that raises the stats of adventurers who wield blades or wands as well as boosting their damage to enemies in event quests. This event will last until December 30, 2020 at 9:59pm PT. 

The flame-attuned Platinum Showcase runs until 9:59pm PT on December 27, 2020 and it features the adventurers Cassandra and Ramona. 

Finally, a new event called Time Attack Challenge is coming on December 22, 2020 at 10:00pm PT. In this event, players can compete for the best clear time of eligible quests. These quests will come in the difficulty of beginner, standard, expert, and master; and Master quests can be played in co-op.
