Four downloadable games added to Club Nintendo

Club Nintendo members can now choose from four new games. Tetris (150 coins), Snowpack Park (150 coins), Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (200 coins), and Mario Kart 64 (200 coins) are the new selections. Each title will remain on Club Nintendo through February 10.

Bonk: Brink of Extinction was nearly complete prior to its cancellation

Bonk: Brink of Extinction was one of the last games Pi Studios worked on prior to its closure. Once the plug was pulled on development, the company shut down soon thereafter.

Siliconera sources say that Brink of Extinction was nearly done. It would have launched digitally on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.

SimCity removed from the Wii Shop Channel

For whatever reason, SimCity has been pulled from the Wii Shop Channel. The game has simply disappeared. Nintendo didn’t include a message on the store about its removal, and right now it’s completely unknown as to why this has occurred.
