Good Mood Creators has announced “Mekazoo”, a new side-scrolling platformer for Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The camera shifts through different angles depending on the action shown on-screen.

In Mekazoo, players can control five mekanimals such as a fast-moving armadillo. Other characters can be unlocked including a frog, a wallaby, a panda, and a pelican. Mekanimals can pair up and players will be able to switch between them at will.

Check out a trailer for Mekazoo above. The game is due out later this year.

There hasn’t been much to say about The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup in recent months. You could essentially say that the game went into hiding, and updates ceased for quite awhile.

But just last week, new updates landed on developer Gory Detail’s official Tumblr page. We now have a look at two brief clips, plus some art. In one drawing, it’s shown that Rusty’s original name was “Toc”.

You can keep track of future Tumblr updates here.

Saw this neat little video on the eShop, and thought I might as well post it here!

Best Buy has a couple of notable gaming offers running this week.

First, you can save 10% on all eShop cards starting today. These aren’t major savings, though eShop card sales don’t happen too often.

You can also purchase LEGO Batman 3 at a discount. The game’s Wii U version is available for just $20.

Renegade Kid revealed its latest eShop project, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, towards the end of January. Studio co-founder Jools Watsham offers further information about the Wii U and 3DS eShop game in this month’s issue of Nintendo Force.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge picks up right where the original game picks off (assuming you completed the Grannie levels). Max learns about the location of the original meteor impact site, and that Mutant Mudds are still originating from it. He then sets off to find and destroy the meteor.
