First 3DS firmware update detailed

Earlier today, Nintendo of America announced the first system update for the 3DS. The upgrade will be available for download the moment consumers purchase their system. Nintendo of Europe also sent out a press release about the and detailed the improvements that the update brings. It seems as though the new firmware is very similar – if not exactly the same – to the update Japan received at launch.
