Zelda WiiU

A new Zelda is on the works :)

I like the idea of a less linear Zelda. I also like the idea of HD WW. However, I think the characters look weird. Make them more toony, Nitendo!

Well they have almost a whole year to just work on graphics and polish so it should look amazing by the end.

It's supposed to launch in the fall... so they've got about half a year to finish it.

Zelda Wii U: Less linear? I'm fine with Skyward Sword, really. As long as Nintendo doesn't try to make a sandbox Zelda.

Multiplayer, I'm up for, and makes sense with wiimote/nunchuck and gamepad.

Skyward sword actually gave you some freedom when picking the second lot of dungeons. It worked out well except the glitch where your gave was broken.

Yeah, you could do it the lava desert and grass worlds the second time in what ever order you picked since you already unlocked them.

what did you have to do the second time, didn't you need specific items or songs to access areas?

I think you unlocked the dungeons by getting items in the mini overworlds. But the game breaking glitch came from doing the desert first and talking to the goron in there.

I never knew... that kinda annoys me, because it means they couldn't put any elements that use the second set of items in the other dungeons or overworlds =/

EDIT: Every FAQ I see lists them in the order Ancient Cistern, Sandship and then Fire Sanctuary. That's the order both me and my gf did them in... what are the odds of that? Are you absolutely sure?

Pie's right, I did those in a different order. Think I did Ancient Cistern, Fire Sanctuary then Sandship.

Yeah, you could do that part in any order.

You know, I wonder if Link is a kid or an "adult" in the next game. I kinda want him to be a kid, he is been an adult for the last console games.

Hey, maybe they are making a WW sequel where you play as adult WW Link! Thats why WW is being remake.

Adult Link is just better. Not that I'm biased in any way of course...

Kid Link all the way! Though I wouldn't mind a slightly older teen Link. Like 14-15 years old.
