GameCenter CX - Balloon Fight Wii U VC edition

You may remember that GameCenter CX did a special episode with Satoru Iwata late last year. That segment featured Balloon Fight. Now GameCenter has returned with a new episode focusing on the same game - this time with the Wii U VC release.

I love the new VC interface but would really like to be able to turn off the screen on the Wii U Gamepad while I play on the TV. Or assign the controls to a Wiimote.

So... as a non-Wii U owner this confuses me. Nintendo said the Wii U VC would launch this spring. But Balloon Fight is already out, isn't it?

Sounds like it. Guess they're just throwing the Virtual Console games up on the eShop before they get a dedicated section.

I hope they get Arino to play all the Virtual Console games in the promotion.
