Nintendo is working on an update for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. When it's ready for release, the patch will address communication issues and other problems. Nintendo has not provided a release date for New Leaf's upcoming update.

Does this apply to Japan as well? And if so, what communication issues? I sadly haven't played online with anyone, and I've had the game since launch here.
