At one point, Nintendo was considering a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. The company seemed keen on either pursuing that route, or making a Link to the Past sequel. We all know that Nintendo opted for the latter, but Shigeru Miyamoto hasn't completely forgotten about breathing new life into its old N64 classic.

Miyamoto said the following when asked if Majora's Mask fans were out of luck: "Well, they're still in my memory."

Maybe Nintendo could revisit the possibility of a Majora's Mask 3DS remake further on in the handheld's lifecycle?

Miyamoto hasn't completely forgotten idea of Majora's Mask 3

Oh no, I've had enough remakes for now. Besides, a game like Majora's Mask is near perfect and in really no need of a remake.

@nekoknight: You know what we could use? A simple re-release on Wii U VC where they fix the framerate issues and upscale to HD. $20. Done.

@ Austin: Ah yes, now I would go for that! And don't forget the 16:9 ratio! ^_^

Wish they had revisited MM rather than remake WW, which didn't need one at all.

Replaying Wind Waker right now, since they're not adding any content I'm going to go ahead and agree. Could've just released a HD upscale, or even a VC release of the original. Hope they're not spending too much time on this.

Remake it into OoT 3d levels of awesome and I'm good. Also, Zelda fans. :troll:

just remember that the experience they gain from remaking this game in HD they can put towards making the new HD zelda that much of a better game
