Somehow I'd never seen It's a Wonderful Life before so I fixed that last weekend. I think it's easily the best Christmas movie I've ever seen, but then I can't think of any others movies I really liked. I guess Elf was OK?

I cheated by looking up films, but:

Love Actually
Batman Returns
Nightmare Before Christmas

Not really full on Christmas films though, I know. At least I didn't include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. And Bad Santa looks decent.

Yes, Batman Returns is a good Holiday movie. I love Pfeiffer Catwoman.

I'm trying to remember a horror movies set during Christmas...

Ponyo - More of a kids film but I enjoyed it. Great animation as always.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall - I love this! Best romantic comedy I've seen yet. Nudies: Mila Kunis' boobs/Jason Segel's penis. And I'm sure you'll recognize a few celebs along the way.

Puss in Boots - I wasn't expecting this to be good but I actually really liked it.

Batman: Gotham Knight - I was interested in what a Batman anime would be like. I really enjoyed it. It's basically like 5 or 6 shorts on Batman, each with a different style and animated by different Japanese companies. It's not so much about the story of each episode but more-so the themes and ideals Batman stands for.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is hard to watch for me even though I love it. It just hits home way too much. :'(

I'd say Forgetting Sarah Marshall's probably also one of my favourite romantic comedies. At least, as far as standard romantic comedies go, without crazy premises like Eternal Sunshine.

Aw *pats ehead*

I plan on watching eternal sunshine sooner or later. The only thing really stopping me is Jim Carey. Never really been a fan of his antics in movies haha. I will have to mentally prepare myself for it.

I find most of Carrey's antics grating, especially when they have to hold up an otherwise standard film. But when he plays more serious roles, like Truman Show* or Eternal Sunshine, I think his acting ability does shine through.

* I should watch that again

Ah, Truman Show, I forgot about that. I need to watch that again sometime. And as long as Jim Carrey isn't overly annoying, I guess I'll watch Sunshine later today.

Heheh. I think he can act, but he over acts a lot in some movies. Anyway, ES is a fun movie and Jim Carrey is not annoying in there.

I saw the Hobbit. I like it! More than LotR.

I know, right? I don't know why, but I think Martin Freeman is a better hobbit than Frodo (he's just plain annoying). :O

I watched the first Lord of the Rings like 3 times and never watched the others. Since The Hobbit is out, maybe I should try watching the series again.
