I actually hated every . single . fucking . hobbit in those movies and Legolas

I think Freeman is a great actor, his Bilbo is likable (unlike every other hobbit) and funny (unlike, well you know)

I also like that the story this time is more personal and simpler. Lets see how this new trilogy goes!

Watch The Hobbit! You dont need to see the other movies. I say check the other ones as well. I didnt like them that much, but Return is pretty impressive.

Watching a three-hour movie three times is commendable in my book!

I watched the Animatrix. It's a lot like Gotham Knight where it's a bunch of shorts animated by different parties (and they're pretty darned great) and focuses on concepts of The Matrix but also gives a history of how the robots took over and why they use humans for energy.

Yeah, I have a limited edition DVD of Animatrix. I liked the first One, too bad she wasn't. That didn't make sense. :O

Did it tie into Matrix Reloaded or something? I haven't seen the second one D:

Watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Wow, really great movie with wacky premise. I didn't look up anything about the movie so it was completely unexpected. This is definitely on my list of favorites.

Have I mentioned that I love Eternal Sunshine yet? Its the best film of the decade (for me)!

As for the Matrix, I can't really recall but I guess it did connect somehow with Reloaded.

Yes, no matter what your avatar is, this is the one that sticks firm in my head.

Fun fact: for some reason I thought it was Owen Wilson before this thread existed.

Glad you liked Eternal Sunshine!

Yes, Animatrix is fantastic. Except for those 2 boring weird ones.

I love LOTR and I have the extended edition... but I'm a little sad they split such a small book (The Hobbit) into 3 films. What's up with that. Oh right, money.

I know they're not very good films but I'd watch Reloaded (ugh) and Revolutions (ughh) just to find out the end of the story. Also, badass fight scenes.

Badass fight scenes should be worth it. I think I'm going to watch Magic Mike haha. It'll probably be stupid but I like stupid.

Tim Burton's still got it in him! That being said, he really needs to pick a couple of new themes...

I like 'em. :D

Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Batman, Batman Returns, Sleepy Hollow, etc., all great films. I even found Planet of the Apes fun even though Marky Mark Wahlberg sucked. Also, I'm pretty tempted to get The Dark Knight Trilogy. Still no physical copies available here, ugh!
