General movies thread of what have you seen lately?

Finally saw Wreck it Ralph! :3 God, I loved it sooo much. All of the little cameo appearances are so fun to point out. I was in the cinema going "OH MY GOD IT'S SONIC" and "LOOK, RYU'S WALKING INTO THE BATHROOM" xD That aside, the story itself is fantastic. If any of you haven't watched it, watch it now!

It really is a great movie, even for those who couldn't care less about video games. Has a nice story!

I agree with Valay, but being a Video Game fan makes the movie even better I want a sequel.

I watched The Exorcist in my teens and let me tell you if ever I have children, I'll let them experience the same thing!

For new films, I just saw Oz the Great and the Powerful. Very satisfied! I liked everyone's character in the movie especially Franco and Williams. James Franco just nails it and Michelle Williams just made say 'awwwww' several times (in my head). Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Zach Braff and the kid from TDKR were also great! Such a beautiful cast! Can't really say if its a classic like The Wizard of Oz but I definitely had fun watching it.

I really want to see Oz. It premier today so might see it soon. I hope there is a Bruce Campbell cameo!

Pretty awesome messed-up romantic comedy that turns into a thriller. Interesting combination, for sure.



The best Bond, with the best villain. Still wish they'd stray from the formula a bit, but acting and directing is just fantastic all the way through.

I saw it today and absolutely loved it! Can't wait to see what they do with a sequel. Hopefully more notable characters like Mario and Donkey Kong.

I also watched wreck it Ralph during the weekend and I really liked it. I found the story pretty good (better than I expected) and the characters memorable. I like all the references and cameo related to games and I'm sure it's one of those movies where you can notice something new each time you see it.

@incominggame: It is definitley one of those types of movies, which is a good thing! I noticed a lot of the little cameo apprearances the first time but when I watch it again (now that I don't need to pay attention to the story as much) I would probably notice more.

Great, one of the better "I'm-alternative-and-don't-fit-in-in-high-school" stories I've seen. Great music, acting and directing as well. Highly recommended!

I was watching a commercial for the new Stephanie Meyer (writer of the Twilight books) movie and I love how it says "This isn't another love story" and every scene is the characters kissing or playing in a meadow.
