hard to think of how it started with the exact same roots as Metroid, haha. It's mostly the forgetabble multiplayer mode with weird weapons and characters that bothers me. Also, does every major Nintendo character have to have a "dark" version?

that trailer and cutscenes for Fire Emblem kicked ass, shame the in-game engine doesn't use the same style

There weren't any massive announcements, but I didn't the Japanese presentation wasn't too bad. Maybe it's just because I really wanted a Mario Tennis game with online play. I'm also curious to see what that Namco-Bandai/Capcom/Sega tease was all about.

I think I'll stay up for a bit longer, mainly because I'm certain that Devil Dr. Kawashima will give me nightmares.

edit: We get a Game Center CX episode after this? Even with no-one translating the jokes, Arino is still the best.

Hahaha. Yep, its over. About average, I really liked the trailers they've shown. Also, Valay you have my respect!

Anyway, I won't be up for Reggie's video. Will just check tomorrow. Anyway, Reggie better be announcing better news.

Edit: Yeah! That tease about the JP triumvirate. Pretty intriguing, impossible to predict. :/

I saw little that piqued my interest. I don't really care about Xenoblade Chronicles or The Last Story. The Kid Icarus stuff maybe but probably the most significant thing to me is that Monster Hunter Tri G will get DLC quests, although those are probably just pretty much the same thing as event quests in Tri or download quests in Portable 3rd.

How dare you! Just kidding.

I wasn't too disappointed with Nintendo Direct. And I thought it was nice (and odd) how The Last Story will finally be coming to North America. I don't regret importing though since I wanted the Limited Edition and I'll be able to play it early anyway.
