Let's all take a moment of silence and remember the Gamecube.

Systems such as the N64 may be behind us, but you can talk about the old Nintendo systems here.

Let's all take a moment of silence and remember the Gamecube.

Postby ColaWings » Fri Mar 21, 2008 3:22 pm

The Nintendo Gamecube was a great gaming system.
I remember for countless hours I'd play games like Time Splitters 2, Soul Calibur 2, Sims 2 (what the **** is up with all the 2's...), etc.
Let's all bow our heads and pray that the Gamecube, when it dies out even more, will have it's place in heaven.

Oh! The Collector's Disk! My first "game" on the GameCube that I played happened to be Ocarina of Time, on that very disc. It made me fall in love with the Zelda series and gaming overall. :)

^ OoC was a good game, but I think Majora's Mask was more interesting.

Majora's mask was really i think alot more easier but it was fun too because of the way you could play the game from 4 different ways and had to use them simultaneously.
I also like how each persons life you get in add a little drama to whats going on around you in the game
Like the mail person lol.  I'd say postman but i think it was a girl.  Idk The game was fun overall
OoC was just a challenge to people that love adventure.  Long game loved it
both were awesome

I thought Majora's Mask was a worthy sequel, especially considering the time constraint Miyamoto had. Though, some things really annoyed me such as the pressure of time running down on you.

Ocarina just had...Something special about it. I honestly can't put my finger on the exact feature or element, but it was an enchanting experience throughout.

Ew Majora's Mask, I hated it. It had a stupid saving system as far as I remember, the thing where you had to run back and talk to it to save and you were constantly timed by the stupid moon, eh dislike.

Yeah, the three days gave a lot of pressure at times :X
Just like OoC, I failed at Majora's mask, but from what I played, it was pretty interesting.

But Naill is right, there was a lot of interesting drama within that game. The masks were pretty cool, it reminded me of the 'styles' in Megaman Zero 2/Megaman Battle Network 2-3, except you could use them whenever you wanted, and there were a lot more of them.
