This game.

First it was a FPS with vampires and werewolves.
Then it was a top down shooter.
Now it is on the shitter.

Last years lay-offs (at HVS) could have slowed development. ???
The overall reception for 'Conduit 1&2' plus 'Tournament of Legends' also may be effecting High Voltages' stance on future development. ???
The announcement of Wiiu and their currently listed TBA 3DS title, again, may have changed things. ???

What cracks me up are the words 'HIGH VOLTAGE DELIVERS' on their site... :-\ "Prove it then!"

Personally I wasn't a fan of Conduit (didn't get ToL), HVS put too much focus on graffics compared to gameplay. HVS seem to live only to impress graffically and have been quoted in sharing their bold views about games on Wii. Something on the lines of - "Wii games have crap graffics." <--[not a direct quote]

It was a top-down shooter for PS3 and 360. It remained an FPS for Wii.

Yeah, I remember. It used to be a Wii exclusive, also. Something tells me this game is dead. Or its going to suck.

The only versions I have hope for are the top-down ones. HVS made Hunter: The Reckoning and I loved those games and the 360/PS3 versions looked a lot like that. My guess is the HVS' gamble on the Wii cost them a lot more than they were hoping and now the game is being rebuilt as a downloadable title for 360/PS3, if it isn't dead.

Has anybody heard any news regarding The Grinder? It's been awfully quiet, and I really want this game to happen, whether it be Wii or Wii U..

Nope. Maybe I could try sending High Voltage an email. Who knows if they'd even read it, but...

That'd be cool, but it's not really necessary. If they have something to say, they'll put out a press release, I think.
