Hello, people of Nintendo Everything!
My name is Brian de Lint, but you can call me Triskiller. I'm 19 years of age and have been a Nintendo fan ever since I was a young boy and played my first Mario and Zelda games (Super Mario Land 2 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, respectively). My native language is Dutch, since I was born in the Netherlands, but I'd like to think of English as a second language. Mind you, not because I was raised in a bi-lingual family, but because I use it more regularly and, I think, more fluently than I use Dutch.
I am a writer at heart and have tried my hand at journalism for a few years, that's when I stumbled upon this website. The website was a great source for Nintendo news and I soon found myself visiting Nintendo Everything regularly.
Half a year ago I quit my job at the publication I wrote for, because I'd lost my touch. I'd felt that the industry I was writing about had become lost in commercialism and gore-porn and the only saving graces were Nintendo, Valve and some glorious indie titles (I'm looking at you Minecraft, Super Meat Boy, LIMBO, Amnesia and Bastion!) I have never regretted writing for the publication however, and I still frequently type up a piece -now mostly short stories or poems- to get the creative juices flowing again.
If there are any question, feel free to ask! I hope to be a great addition to the forums.
