Iwata accepting of recent criticism

Satoru Iwata has been lambasted as a result of Nintendo’s current financial state. The 3DS got off to a rough start last year and the company reported some disappointing results from its latest earnings report.
Even though an investor stood by Iwata during Nintendo’s latest financial results briefing, the company’s president was more than accepting of the recent criticism. He’s currently “making efforts so that the situation can change as soon as possible.”
Iwata said:
“First of all, thank you for your encouragement. However, with the financial results that we have announced, it is natural that I am being criticized. I do not feel that I have been experiencing something unreasonable. I am making efforts so that the situation can change as soon as possible.”
