MadWorld producer: MadWorld is not sinister, game is for adults only

I also feel that it’s important that the media and the developers communicate this to adult gamers out there in the world; this is a game for adults. Above all, this is a game. What happens in it – happens in it is a game. It all takes place in a video game environment.” – MadWorld producer Atsushi Inaba
It seems as though a few misinformed people are unaware of MadWorld’s real tone. The game is not just a bunch of violent sequences strung together. Rather, the developers have stated numerous times before that they are aiming for the game to be over-the-top in a comical sense. There doesn’t seem as though there should be a problem granted parents are aware of the game’s rating (and if media don’t take the game too seriously).
