More Wii U specs (GamePad battery life and more)

There are more specs to be had from Nintendo’s E3 2012 website. We’ve summarized the information for you below.

Wii U GamePad

– 500 grams in weight
– 16×9 touch screen is 6.2 inches
– Input methods: touch screen, L and R sticks, L and R stick buttons, d-pad, A, B, X, Y, L and R, ZL and ZR, +/Start, -/Select, and motion controls (accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic), power button, home button, synch button, volume (for the GamePad’s stereo audio output) and TV control button
– Rumble, built-in camera, built-in mic, sensor bar, NFC read/writing functionality
– 3-5 hours for GamePad battery life
– Battery changes depending on screen brightness
– Play while charging the Wii U GamePad
– Charge with AC Adapter
– Charge time is 2.5 hours

Console
