Pokken Tournament announced for arcades

The long-rumored Pokemon game “Pokken Tournament” has finally been made official. Famitsu properly unveiled the title during a live stream event held just a short while ago.

Bandai Namco is behind Pokken Fighters, which shouldn’t be too surprising given the nature of the game. Well-known Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada is involved with the project.

Pokken Tournament will be coming to arcades in 2015.

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this game. Seems similar to hyrule warriors just with zelda skin and tekken with pokemon skin but hey if maybe it intereacts with ammibos or it will have a nice story mode to it i can see the possibility of picking up this game.

    Well it’s only a small judgement on first time appearance but then again will it even hit outside of japan. Honestly i just hope somewhere along these Years before wii u ends and a new console releases is that we get a rpg style type of pokemon game for wii u.

    No doubt it will be great for the fans of the seures but ill stay open minded about this game. If it comes to wii u after arcade version then ill wait to see how it plays out. I love both tekken and pokemon so time will tell.

God dangit….It’s only for arcade. So disappointing…. none of us except for people living in japan can play it.

  Nintendo probably promised timed exclusivity for arcade versions with plans to bring later to wii u.
  If companies who hold these arcades know that the same game is coming on wii u, they’re not gonna buy the arcades version from nintendo.
  Otherwise its unlimited matches on wii u vs 1 dollar matches on arcades, naturally people will go to buy the wii u version.

So wait Wii U struggles needs sales and a game that would guarantee sales a pokemon game is going to sit in an arcade that only one country has. Wow such a bad idea Nintendo really bad idea.

Oh dont get me wrong I’m 100% sure it will come out to consoles and to the west but come on this seems to be one of those game Nintendo should be bringing out as soon as its made not sitting on it.
