SEGA to share a “world-exclusive first look” at what’s next for Sonic at SXSW panel

SEGA will once again be returning to SXSW for a special Sonic panel. On March 16 at 3:30 PM, the event will be hosted and attended by Takashi Iizuka, Austin Keys, Aaron Webber, Tyson Hesse, and Jasmin Hernandez.
This panel might be worth keeping an eye on due to what its description states. SEGA intends to share a “world-exclusive first look” at what’s next for Sonic.

Sonic is back, and ready to take 2018 by storm. Join the official team from SEGA who are building Sonic’s future as they give you an update on last year’s strong performance of Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces, as well as the world-exclusive first look at what comes next for the fastest blue hedgehog. Speakers include Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka, Sonic PD Director Austin Keys, Sonic Mania Animation Director Tyson Hesse, and Sonic Social Media Manager Aaron Webber. You won’t want to miss this!
SEGA has had a fairly heavy presence at SXSW in the past, so we could be in for a surprise or two here. It might be too soon for another game reveal since two new titles just launched last year, but hey, you never know…
