Splatoon features Miiverse posts as in-game graffiti

Splatoon makes use of Miiverse in some interesting ways. For one thing, your character can appear in other players’ Plazas. Those who tried out Splatoon Global Testfire this weekend also noticed that Splatoon-related Miiverse art was showing up on billboards (and apparently some walls as well). It’s something that was hinted at before, but we now have a complete confirmation of the functionality.
If you’re not interested in seeing other players’ art/posts, it seems as though there will be an option to disable this. You’ll be able to either enable or disable “Miiverse Tags”, which show up as in-game graffiti.
