Suda51 is finally back on Nintendo consoles. Next year, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will launch on Switch.

Travis Strikes Again was originally announced during the latest Nindies Showcase, and for good reason. The game will have partnerships with a ton of different indie titles. Hotline Miami, Shovel Knight, and others will be featured as t-shirts in the game. The collaborations could extend further beyond that as well.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, Suda51 spoke about Nintendo’s commitment to indies. He also expressed how grateful he is that Nintendo is showing such care for his own game and series.

Suda51 said:

“Over the past two years, I’ve seen how much Nintendo has been putting into getting the word out about indies and trying to help the indie community get more popular and get more support. It’s really obvious to me that Nintendo has really started caring more about indies.”

“In my entire career as a video game creator, I’ve never had that chance before. I’ve never had a platform or company really show that they care about my games or my series this much, and really offer this much support for it. I really appreciate that and it’s one of the reasons I’m really glad to be working with Nintendo. They show that they do care. That sort of care is something that I’m able to receive from Nintendo that I don’t really think I’d get from anywhere else.”
