3DS XL

When Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate hit the 3DS many people swiftly purchased for themselves a Circle Pad Pro, as the extra analogue stick made navigation in the game much simpler. Third party manufacturer Hori are trying to take this one step further with the Extended Slide Pad controller, creating console like shoulder buttons to make the playing experience closer to a home console. 2 streams of the device will be released, one for the 3DS and one for the XL each for 2 980 yen. An accessory kit is also on the way featuring a cleaning cloth, strap and decal for 2 180 (3DS version) and 2 2280 yen (XL version). Check out the accessories below and let us know what you think!

Could a new Mario & Luigi bundle be on the way to North America. Allegedly so. The silver system above was said to have been spotted at Walmart recently “in the back room”. It will supposedly go on sale on December 2.

I’ve been debating whether or not to post this given how the last time we thought Nintendo was going to announce a specially-designed system, it turned out to be fake. I suppose we’ll compromise by not including this in “The Digest” tab!

When Nintendo said the Club Nintendo 3DS XL charging cradles would be limited, they really meant it. All five colors – blue, yellow, white, red, and green – are already unavailable.

The rewards were up for less than an hour before selling out. It’s unclear if additional product will be added to the site in the future.

Club Nintendo members can now use their coins to order a colored 3DS XL charging cradle. The reward comes in blue, yellow, red, white, and green. Each version costs 500 coins.

You can place an order for the colored 3DS XL charging cradles here.
