During a Twitch stream, Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition was briefly shown with off-screen footage. Some details about the upcoming version were shared as well.

One concern players may have relates to worlds from the Wii U version. If you created content on that platform, you’ll be happy to hear that the team is worked on a way to transfer worlds over to Switch. Transfers won’t be ready for launch next month, but it sounds like it will be happening at some point.

Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition was showcased during an official live stream a short while ago. We have the full recording below, but note that the first half had audio issues (not our fault!).

Among the new DLC added to Minecraft: Wii U Edition this week is the Power Rangers Skin Pack. Take a look at some footage below.

Alongside the new Glide Mini Game, two new skin packs are coming to Minecraft: Wii U Edition. All of the new content should be out tonight / tomorrow at the latest.

First up is the Power Rangers Skin Pack. Skins for characters from the franchise are featured here.

Minecraft: Wii U Edition is also receiving the Mini Game Masters Skin Pack. It’ll include various outfits tying into the new mini-game.

One other small note by the way: Minecraft Wii U’s new update will include a fix for the following: MCCE-3984 – Enderdragon is able to use an End Gateway.

Earlier today, the Glide Mini Game was announced for Minecraft on consoles. It should be coming to various systems tomorrow, including Wii U. Tons of footage can be found after the break from a live stream on Twitch.

Starting tomorrow, Minecraft: Wii U Edition players can participate in the new Glide Mini Game. It’ll put your aeronautical skills to the test, as you’ll be flying around in an aerial track. Additional free tracks will be offered at a later date.

The Glide Mini Game features two modes: Time Attack and Score Attack. The former has you using thermal drafts and speed boosters to obtain the fastest possible time while the latter encourages wracking up points by hitting all the hoops. Single-player and multiplayer options are both included. A more spacious lobby will be included as part of the update.
