Best Buy

A trio of Wii U titles are on sale over on Amazon and Best Buy. Both retailers have discounted Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, and Mario Party 10 by $15. The sale should last through the next week.

It’s not much of a discount, but I’ll also mention that Best Buy has the Splatoon Wii U bundle for $25 off. This will also be on sale through the following week.

Update 2: Back in stock again apparently!

Update: Now gone. It lasted a decent amount of time on Best Buy’s site!

The Dark Pit amiibo can currently be purchased on Best Buy’s website. Get an order in here. If it doesn’t work, try using this link.

Update: Bumped to the top. Amazon has now price-matched Best Buy’s Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate price. Get the deal here.

Two deals have gone live on Best Buy’s website, and both are valid for today only.

First, if you purchase one first-party 3DS game, you can get another at 50 percent off. The lineup includes Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, and lots more. You can check out the entire list of eligible games (and the deal itself) here.

It’s also worth noting that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has received a $10 discount. It can be bought here for $30 as opposed to $40.

All things considered, last week’s sale of the Palutena amiibo on Amazon’s website went quite well. The figure’s availability lasted about an hour, so many consumers were able to get an order in.

There may be similar luck when Dark Pit goes on sale at Best Buy this Friday. We’re hearing that many stores in the United States will have roughly 50 units on hand, with some locations getting as many as 80. The lowest number seems to be at around 15 currently, but on the whole, Dark Pit should be relatively well-stocked.

Originally, the Dark Pit amiibo was thought to be a Best Buy exclusive in Canada. There’s been talk since then that this wouldn’t be the case, but it wasn’t until today that we received concrete information.

Walmart is now listing the Dark Pit amiibo on its Canadian website. While the listing isn’t live yet, this means that Best Buy won’t be the only retailer in the country to be selling the figure. That’s good news for amiibo fans in Canada!

You can give Best Buy’s sale a look here. It should last through July 25.

There will be only one way to purchase a Dark Pit amiibo in Canada. Best Buy has obtained exclusivity for Dark Pit in the country, meaning no other retailers will be selling the figure.

Best Buy’s Reward Zone Gamers Club Twitter account confirms:

Dark Pit was previously confirmed as a retailer exclusive in the U.S. Palutena also arrives on the same day, and should be available at all stores.

Best Buy is running a slight 4th of July sale on its website. You can save $25 on a pair of Wii U bundles, as the Splatoon and Super Mario World packages are both going for $274.99. Each one comes with a copy of Nintendo Land as well.

Earlier today, we found out that the Dark Pit amiibo will be exclusive to Best Buy in the United States. The retailer has since followed up with an official announcement.

Best Buy will be handling the sale of Dark Pit in a different manner than usual. For one thing, pre-orders won’t be available for the figure. He also won’t be sold online. You’ll need to head to your local Best Buy on July 31 for a chance of obtaining Dark Pit.

Source,

Looks like we have another retailer-exclusive amiibo on our hands here in the United States! When Dark Pit launches later this month, it seems as though it will only be sold by Best Buy. You’ll notice that there’s an “Only @ Best Buy” image attached to the amiibo when searching from him over on the store’s website.

The Palutena amiibo launches alongside Dark Pit this month as well. Chances are that figure will also be a retailer-exclusive.
