Bandai Namco has dated the next major update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The patch, which features Chronoa as a new playable character and more, arrives on August 26.

V-Jump has had a lot of Bandai Namco news this week, and the latest is an update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. While the update was announced back in May, we are now getting more details about what is to be included. You can take a look at the translation below from Gematsu:
Conton City Tournament
A new event. The more times you play, the more fantastic the prize:
- First play – Load screen(s).
- Second play – Supreme Kai of Time (Chronoa) playable character.
- Third play – Supreme Kai of Time (Chronoa) custom skills.
New Raid
Jiren and the Time Patrollers put your abilities to the test.
Load Screen Customization
Exactly as its name implies.
CC Mascots
Mascot characters that follow the player character and perform cute actions. Characters include Puar, Zeno, Buu, Chiaotzu, and the like. They are similar to minions in Final Fantasy XIV.

As previously announced, Bandai Namco is still adding new content to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The Supreme Kai of Time will be coming as a playable character, and the latest set of customization items will include Broly’s Wig & Armor and Supreme Kai of Time’s clothes. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update making Chronoa playable and adding more customization options

It’s been some time since Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has received a content update. But now, after it was announced that the game has reached 6 million in sales, Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time, will be added as a playable character. This is in addition to some more customization options.
All this news comes from the latest issue of the magazine V-Jump which was translated courtesy of Gemastu:
“The update will include a Broly wig and armor, Supreme Kai of Time costume, and an expansion of the Partner Customization feature, allowing characters that previously could not be chosen to now be selected.
Chronoa’s Super Attacks are ‘Holy Ingres’ and ‘Kairos Cannon,’ and her Ultimate Attacks are ‘Galaxy Time Impact’ and ‘God Cross Cannon.'”
At this time, no release date has been given for this update but it is expected to drop on all systems, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC soon.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update arrives December 11th, DLC Ultra Pack 2 on December 12th

The tenth free update is hitting Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on December 11th. This update adds an expanded Photo Mode, which allows you to take pictures with Time Patrollers all over the world in Conton City, as well as new skills, costumes, accessories, and other content. Following this, on December 12th, downloadable content “Ultra Pack 2” will be available for purchase. This will include new playable characters Android 21 and Majuub, as well as additional Parallel Quests for players to enjoy.

Super Uub coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as DLC

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been out for a while now, yet the game is still getting new DLC. The latest addition to the roster will be a new DLC character: Super Uub. This was revealed in the latest issue of V-Jump (credit goes to Gematsu for the translation). The DLC will be available this Winter. Super Uub’s attacks include:
- Flash Chaser – A ki blast that can change trajectory with additional input.
- Dragon Quick Attack – A knee kick followed by consecutive kick attacks, which can connect to a punch or heel drop with additional input.
- Inside Buster (Evasive Skill) – Charges and releases ki. Its power can be increased through repeated button pressing while charging.
- Lightning Force (Ultimate Attack) – Charges ki in an invicible state, then scatter shoots the it at his surroundings. Its power can be increased through repeated button pressing while charging.
There will also be a free update adding a new functionality to Photo Mode, allowing you to take pictures with your allies in Conton City, as well as a two-versus-four mode in Master Raid.
