Japan Expo

Fire Emblem: Three Houses was shown off today at Japan Expo 2019 in Paris. Toshiyuki Kusakihara from Intelligent Systems and Genki Yokota from Nintendo were present and revealed a few new tidbits about the game (credit goes to Perfectly Nintendo for translating and transcribing):

It’s not all leaks coming out of the Japan Expo Twitter account today. The account also confirmed that The Legend of Zelda mastermind Eiji Aonuma will hold a “The Art of The Legend of Zelda Series” masterclass at the convention in Paris in July.

Aonuma won’t be the first big Nintendo developer to appear at Japan Expo. Last year, Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda was there to talk about Pokemon and in 2015, Shigeru Miyamoto himself also held a masterclass there.

Last week, we heard that Shigeru Miyamoto would be attending the Japan Expo in France. Those plans have sadly since been scrapped.

Nintendo of France announced on Twitter that Miyamoto won’t be at the expo for person reasons. Specifically, his absence is due to the health of his father.

We regret to announce that Mr Miyamoto will not present at Japan Expo for personal reasons related to the health of his father.
