GungHo’s first Switch game will be released in the west, CEO on Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, more

GungHo Online Entertainment is officially working on a new game for Switch. We don’t know what it is exactly, but the project was teased as an “action game for all ages with a lighter, comical tone.”
GungHo’s Switch title won’t just be for Japan. President and CEO Kazuki Morishita has confirmed plans for the west, and the company may have other titles for the console as well.
Morishita spoke about this and more in an interview with Nintendo Life. Aside from Switch, he touched on Puzzle & Dragons as well as working with Nintendo on Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition.

Amazon and GameStop both have unique pre-order bonuses for Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition.
On Amazon
, those who reserve the 3DS package will receive the retailer’s exclusive Vampire Lord unlock bonus. This unlocks the ability to earn the Vampire Lord character. Amazon’s description notes, “The Vampire Lord is a dark yet noble monster. Rumor has it that its bite has the power to turn others into vampires.”
GameStop’s bonus is slightly different. By pre-ordering Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition there, you’ll be able to obtain an exclusive Relic that will help you evolve the Apocalypse Monster.

Nintendo just published a video for the upcoming 3DS Game Puzzle & Dragons Z, showing you how to perform combos by making an “L” pattern.
Puzzle & Dragons Z will be released in a bundle with Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition in Europe on May 8th and in North America on May 22nd.

Nintendo confirms $30 price point for Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition, demo in May

Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition will be slightly cheaper than expected. While most retailers have been listing the package for $40, it turns out that the final price will be just $29.99.
Nintendo also confirmed that a demo is in the works for Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition. This will be available “in early May.”
Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition launches in North America on May 22.
