Red Column

Red Column reconfirmed its commitment to free updates for its Wii U eShop game 3Souls earlier this week. The studio also outlined changes that are in the pipeline.

In another new blog post, Red Column talks about what else is planned, primarily for the Vault. The team is adding in a completion percentage, ML-Rules, hidden memories, new content for the Nindies mini-game, and a gallery feature. Everything is covered in detail on the official website here.

Red Column is still hard at work on free episodes for its Wii U eShop game 3Souls. Alongside “Nophes” and “Nidemon”, the developer is planning improvements.

In the future, players will be able to look up and down at any time on the game. Improvements to the camera are also on the way, as detailed below:

Red Column shared some news today about what’s in store for the second and third episodes of 3Souls.

In the past, the plan was to offer these episodes as DLC. But after thinking about it heavily, Red Column has instead decided to provide both for free. If you buy the main game (which includes the first episode), players will receive episodes 2 and 3 in a free update when they’re ready to launch.

The two episodes are currently targeted for the first half of 2017. The team has been “working really hard” on the new content, which is taking longer than anticipated.

Our first look at the second episode of 3Souls, titled Nophes, is attached above (animated version here). Here’s what Red Column has to say about it:

“And to finish the day of news, here you have the first image of the coming episode: Nophes and the luminous streets of Sleepless City! As you can see now, every Ánima has a different soul… each of them sees the world through a different lens… so while you have seen and heard Nelesa’s sadness… the green soul of our next character it’s quite the opposite!”

Red Column is celebrating today’s news with a sale. Starting tomorrow and lasthing through January 8, the game is on sale for $1.95 / €1.80 / £1.60.

Indie developer Red Column is back with another update on its Wii U game 3Souls. Today’s video – posted below – gives us a look at co-op.

Here’s a breakdown of the new co-op mode:

This mode will be able to be activate it during the entire game. By doing so, you will add another player to get the control of the character (Nelesa in the first episode) and control her steps through the platforms with the Wii Remote or Pro Controller. The second player, will remain with the Wii U GamePad to stay in charge of the soul, informing of the thoughts and feeling of the character, and connecting to the portals of the world to be able to solve the puzzles of the game with the features of the Wii U GamePad.

This will be perfect for those who are not really good at platform and prefer the puzzles, or the other way around, sharing the experience of the game with a friend.

It will also show a different way of enjoy the game, forcing you to coordinate with the other player that knows the information on where you jump or where to go, information that you can only obtain on the Wii U GamePad.

Red Column hopes to have 3Souls’ first episode known as Nelesa out by the end of June or beginning of July. It’s already with Nintendo for lot check.
