Research and Destroy

Spike Chunsoft and Implausible Industries have announced Research and Destroy, a new turn-based action game. The title will be releasing on Switch in October.

Here’s an overview of the game, along with a trailer:

Many indie games were playable at BitSummit in Japan last weekend. Among them was Research and Destroy, a real-time strategy game from Implausible Industries.

Site contributor iYakku asked the team about a Switch version while the game was being displayed. It’s running on Unreal Engine 4, meaning they can bring it to any console they want so long as their publisher allows for it. The game is only running on PC at the moment, but the developers at Implausible Industries have console experience, so that’s their target – including Switch.
