Nintendo will soon be offering a special 3,000 yen prepaid card in Japan. It features artwork based on Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or more specifically, the DLC. Stores will begin selling the card on March 3.

Original (2/13): Game Informer has posted a few minutes of new footage from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The clip shows snowy areas, more battles, riding horses, and Shrines.

Best Buy giving out a Zelda: Breath of the Wild poster for midnight Switch launch

Best Buy locations across North America will be hosting a midnight launch for Switch on March 3. If you attend, you’ll have a shot of nabbing a special item. While supplies last, Best Buy will be handing out a Zelda: Breath of the Wild poster.

DLC is coming to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo has revealed.
An Expansion Pass will be offered for the game at launch for $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99. You’ll then receive three new treasure chests that can be found at the Great Plateau. One contains a shirt with a Switch logo that Link can wear, exclusive to the Expansion Pass. Nintendo says that “The other two will deliver useful items.”

Nintendo announces Zelda: Breath of the Wild GDC 2017 panel

A panel for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be held at GDC 2017, Nintendo announced today. Game director Hidemaro Fujibayashi, art director Satoru Takizawa, and technical director Takuhiro Dohta will be on hand for the panel, named “Change and Constant – Breaking Conventions with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”. The event “will provide an in-depth look at how these convention-breaking changes were implemented.”
Nintendo will host the panel between 11 AM to 12:30 PM local time on March 1 at the Moscone Center. It doesn’t sound like a live stream will be offered, but it will be shown on the GDC Vault site the following week.

If you listen closely to the sounds and music playing in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you might be able to hear a classic tune. Fans have discovered that a certain theme plays while you’re out exploring Hyrule Field. It’s subtle though, so it might not be entirely easy to detect.
Amazon UK offering download codes for Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch

Nintendo’s two Switch games now have download codes on Amazon UK. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and 1-2-Switch can both be “pre-ordered”.
We should point out that the digital versions cost more than the physical releases on Amazon UK. Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s boxed version is £49.99, but a digital copy is going for £59.99. 1-2-Switch is also higher at £39.99 as opposed to £34.99.
In case you’re wondering, Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U also now has a download code option on Amazon UK.
