Unholy Heights

A bunch of new games joined the North American Switch eShop today, including Unholy Heights. We’ve posted some footage below.

Last week, Mebius publihsed Unholy Heights on the Japanese Switch eShop. A new trailer for the game shared today is below.

It was already clear that Unholy Heights would be launching on the European 3DS eShop tomorrow thanks to the weekly Nintendo Download PR. However, we now have confirmation that the game will be out in North America at the same time. It’ll cost $6.00 / €5.99.

Unholy Heights offers tower defense gameplay along with demon monster apartment management. Players assume the role of the Devil “who creates an apartment for monsters to defend against pillaging wannabe heroes”.

Here’s some additional information:

In this creative Tower Defence game you sucker monsters to live in your apartment building by buying them furniture according to their needs. Once they are in your apartment, have them breed stronger offspring, charge them rent or KICK THEM OUT! Your army is the only thing in the way of you and the sickeningly sweet good folk who try and erase the monsters presence.

Petit Depotto’s tower defense and apartment sim “Unholy Heights” is heading to the Japanese 3DS eShop. A release is planned for this year.

Here’s an overview of the game’s PC version:

It’s inevitable that rumors of an apartment building full of monsters would eventually reach the ears of the no-good humans. Would-be heroes, bloodthirsty pirates, cunning thieves and conniving mages all have their sights on The Devil’s gold! Knock on doors and call your residents to your side! They want a war? We’ll give ‘em a war!

As a side note, Playism has localized the PC release of Unholy Heights. That bodes well for the 3DS version coming over eventually.
