Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle

Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle has been downloaded over one million times in Japan. To celebrate, the game will be holding a special event featuring Marik Ishtar. The free-to-play title is also set to release in other territories in the future, although Konami has not given a firm release date.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle came out in Japan on July 6. Since then, the game has amassed 500,000 downloads, Konami has announced.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle should be released outside of Japan later this year.

Konami brought Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle to the Japanese 3DS eShop earlier this week. Get a look at the game in the video below.

Konami just published a new trailer for Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyo Card Battle, which will be released in Japan on July 6th. Give it a watch:

Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle now has a release date in Japan. A new scan reveals a July 6 launch, and also says that it’ll be a free-to-play game (with in-app purchases of course).

Konami has also updated the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle website, reconfirming details we reported on a few weeks ago. Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle is about taking part in a new tournament held after Battle City known as the “Legend Challenge”. Speed Duels and cards from the latest Starter Deck will be included.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle is featured in the latest issue of V Jump. There isn’t a ton that’s new, but we do have a few images and details pertaining to the game.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle is centered around a new tournament held after Battle City known as the “Legend Challenge”. Speed Duels are in, and it’s currently unknown if regular Duels exist. V Jump also confirms that there are 3D Monster Animations for cards such as “Dark Magician Girl”. Finally, cards from the latest Starter Deck will be included.

Konami will release Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle this summer via the eShop.

Konami has opened the teaser site for Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle following its recent reveal in Jump. Access it here.

For the most part, the site doesn’t offer too much new. It mostly recaps characters we heard about before (Protagonist, Guide-san, Psychic Tendo, Strong 19), though it also looks like Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba will be appearing.

Yugi, the original Duel King. is competing with his power to summon the Dark Magician. Kaiba is a formidable duelist who wields the ultra powerful monster card – the Blue Eyes White Dragon.
