Wii has become this generation’s PS2 according to SEGA

“The Wii has become this generation’s version of the PlayStation 2, reaching all parts of the market and selling tens of millions of units.” – Sega President Simon Jeffery

I don’t really know how you can argue with that. Simon Jeffrey is essentially saying that the Wii has sold comparably to the PS2 last generation. It’ll be interesting to see if Wii can keep its sales momentum throughout its entire lifecycle.
