You can lock Mario out of the castle in Super Mario Maker with the new key feature

Did you know that you can lock Mario out of the castle in Super Mario Maker? With the new 1.40 update and key functionality, this is actually possible. If you use a locked door in the original Super Mario Bros. style, Mario won’t be able to enter! It’s a neat little Easter Egg included by Nintendo.
