Zelda: Breath of the Wild director comments on the reward for finding all Korok seeds

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a massive amount of Korok seeds to collect. Attempting to do so requires a great deal of time, as several hundred are scattered across Hyrule.
There will be a reward waiting for you once you’ve found every last Korok Seed. The thing is, it’s not exactly helpful or valuable – it’s more comical in nature.
IGN asked Zelda: Breath of the Wild director about the reward in a recent interview. His comment specifically references what you receive, so keep that in mind before proceeding.
In any case, Hidemaro passed along the following when asked about the prize:
“We just kind of thought it would be funny to make that a big joke. It’s just the backstory, the kind of hidden kind of thing in the game the whole way is that the Korok seeds are actually Korok poop.”
