Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is back with a new trailer and details, this time showcasing the game’s multiplayer in Battle Mode. Players will be able to participate in online rumbles with up to 16 competitors in 5 game modes. Race, Banana Hunt, Ba-Boom, Goal Rush, and Robot Smash are all available.

Originally made for PC, Auroch Digital and Positech Games are teaming up to bring Democracy 4 to Switch with a new Console Edition. A release is scheduled for June 5, 2024.
Democracy 4: Console Edition, a political simulation game, involves players lead one of several countries and look to win their next election. They can choose policies, laws, and take other actions which will positively impact some areas of their country, while having a negative effect on others.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Compile Heart is developing Death end re;Quest CodeZ for Switch. The game launches September 19, 2024 in Japan.
Death end re;Quest CodeZ, a roguelike RPG with Shiren the Wanderer-like 3D dungeons, offers a new story in which all the all-stars from the series appear. There’ll also be over 100 Death Ends.

Newman Athletics is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Today, Hamster announced that Newman Athletics will be its latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. It will be available worldwide tomorrow, April 25.
A sports game first released by Namco in 1993, in Newman Athletics players will be able to choose between one of four superhumans, known as Newmen, to compete in eight different competitions. To clear the competition and advance to the next, you will need to beat the current record, known as the NEED value in the game.
Arcade Archives Newman Athletics will be sold digitally via the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Another Dokapon game is coming to Switch with Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken having now been revealed for the platform. Biccamera, a retailer in Japan, just put up a listing for the title.
Dokapon: Ikari no Tekken originally released for the PlayStation at the end of 1999, but only in Japan. New features are planned for the Switch version of the board game RPG hybrid.

Nintendo Switch Online adds Extreme-G, Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls

Two more N64 games are joining the Nintendo Switch Online service with Extreme-G and Iggy’s Reckin’ Balls. Both are now immediately available.
Both of these titles are being made available as part of the Expansion Pack tier of Nintendo Switch Online. That membership also includes access to SEGA Genesis games.
