Action cooking adventure Space Chef coming to Switch

Blue Goo Games previously launched a Kickstarter campaign for Space Chef, a 2D open world action adventure game with cooking, farming, and crafting mechanics. It ended with more than double the funding goal at a total of €45,590 raised, and a Switch version was secured in the process.
The core loop of Space Chef involves hunting, cooking, and delivering food across the galaxy. Various gameplay mechanics are included like exploring different planets and upgrading a ship to reach further into space. On these planets, it’s possible to discover unusual seeds and nurture them in a farm until they’re ready to be harvested. Since each one has a unique day and night cycle, certain creatures and plants can only be found at certain times of the day.
Along the way, players will come across various human and alien characters that will need your help, though some will aid you as well. Not everyone is friendly though, and expect to engage in combat against pirates.
Crafting comes into play with different junk floating around space. You can use the items you collect to build machines that will help you make food faster and your life easier.
