Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to host Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt soon

A new event is on the way to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Nintendo has provided first information about the Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt in the app today.
Here’s the official rundown:
Once the event starts, you’ll be able to find gyroidite around various places. You can use the gyroidite you collect to craft special furniture and clothing items.
That’s the only information we have at present. Nintendo says the event is starting “soon”, but hasn’t provided a final date just yet.
