Are hot dogs sandwiches? Switch owners settle the debate again

Nintendo asked Switch owners last year to decide on whether hot dogs are sandwiches. Ultimately, the consensus was that they are in fact sandwiches having taken home 54% of the vote. One year later, the tides have turned.
Nintendo again asked Switch owners to vote on whether hot dogs are sandwiches a few weeks ago. This was done through the system’s news channel feature. This time around, the results were shared.
Unlike last year, Switch users now say that hot dogs aren’t sandwiches. Here’s the full note from Nintendo:
National Hot Dog Day has come and gone, but there’s still one loose end to wrap up. A few weeks ago, we asked everyone if a hot dog is a sandwich. Well, it’s now time to ketchup on the results:
– 78.8% of you said that hot dogs are not sandwiches.
– 21.2% of you said that hot dogs are sandwiches.What a victory! It’s extra interesting because more people said that hot dogs are sandwiches last year (56% to 44%).
