A look at a returning feature from Brawl today, Sakurai details Photo Studio which will be making a return to Wii U:

Today’s screenshot is a bit of trivia about a bit of trivia:

The next batch of New 3DS cover plates will be hitting Japan November 21st featuring Pokemon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire, KK Slider, Question Mark blocks, Mario and Luigi and much more. The following month will see the release of a Jibanyan plate from Yo-Kai watch. Check out screenshots of all the new plates below!

The Generation VI multiplayer hub Pokemon Global Link will be down for maintenance next month from November 13th to November 21st. This is following the announcement of some of the new Global Link features such as the XY and ORAS Leagues and is presumably to accommodate for these changes. Other changes coming with the release next month are the ability to share your Secret Base and photos from Pokémon Contests.

Yet another Final Fantasy Explorers live-stream is happening next week as part of Square-Enix’s ongoing guide for beginner players. Supposedly there’ll be a wider variety of information this time around although no further clarification was given as to what that actually means… Regardless, here are the times:

Europe: 2PM
UK: 1PM
USA (East Coast): 8AM
USA (West Coast): 5AM
Japan: 9PM JST

We’ll have an embed of the video on the site as it gets closer to the date, so stay tuned!

Disappointed by the lack of Wii U teases as of late? I think today Sakurai might have you covered:

Famitsu has reported the first bunch of stats for the New Nintendo 3DS and the New Nintendo 3DS XL which was released in Japan last weekend. Both models have sold a collective total of 233,483 units, with 61,151 of those being the New 3DS and 172,332 being the New 3DS XL. Also reported was that Monster Hunter 4G has also sold 1,617,949 units to date. Here are some other interesting stats / tidbits for comparison:
