The mobile game turned Switch title Dodge Hard is now available in Japanese eShop. To commemorate the release of the game publisher Vanguard has released a trailer. View that and a description of the game below.

To celebrate the start of Christmas Eve, Nintendo has added a few new holiday-centric 3DS themes for My Nintendo members. Here are the new themes available and their costs:

  • Nintendo 3DS theme: Animal Crossing: New Leaf: Jingle’s Toy Day – 100 Platinum Points
  • Nintendo 3DS theme: Mario’s Winter Wonderland – 100 Platinum Points
  • Nintendo 3DS theme: Mario’s Happy Holidays – 20 Gold Points

The second Spirit Board event is now playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Here’s a description of the first part of the Fire Emblem Fest:

Spirits from the Fire Emblem series have set up camp on the Spirit Board!

Some of the spirits who appear in Part One of this may not appear in Part Two, and vice versa. Defeat these spirits to receive more Spirit Points than normal.

In Part One of this event, Legend-class spirits Caeda and Azura, and Ace-class spirits Eliwood and Eirika will each appear for a fixed time. Part Two of this event is scheduled to take place next month.

Part One only runs through December 23.

GetAmped Mobile, competitive action game originally designed for phones, is now available for Switch on the Japanese eShop. YouTuber NintenDaan has footage from the Switch version of the game, which you can view below.

According to Pokemon fan site Serebii.net, a patch is coming for the recent Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee that will fix an error which prevents players’ Pokedex from updating based on Pokemon received via Mystery Gifts. Here’s what the website shared:

It has been confirmed that a patch is coming for Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee! in late January. This patch will bring the game up to Version 1.1 and will fix an error in the game which causes Pokémon to not register in the Pokédex if received from Mystery Gift. At present it’s not clear if any further fixes will come but we’ll post as we get more information

The Grand Hero Linus: Mad Dog is now back in Special Maps in the Fire Emblem mobile game from December 20 through December 26. Defeating him turns him into an ally. There are also limited-time special quests available during the same period, as well as a new map in Tactics Drills: Grandmaster.

The fifth Switch game in the SEGA Ages series, Gain Ground, has a Japanese release date. It will release in just a week on December 27. We’re still waiting to hear on a Western date for the eShop title.
