Additional surprises

SEGA hasn’t sent out a press release confirming these titles, but these are the games that are listed in Famitsu. The magazine has E3 news from Konami and Tecmo Koei/Team Ninja as well, so the list above is most likely spot on.

Dance Central (360) – 9/8/9/10
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (3DS) – 9/8/8/8
DualPenSports (3DS) – 8/8/7/8

Phantom Breaker (360) – 7/7/6/7

Ah, now this is a Zelda trailer done right. Fantastic music is included (that piece sounds new to me!), and we finally get to see a number of areas that haven’t been shown much in the past. Dungeons, Hyrule locations, and more can be seen in the video. If you’re a Zelda fan, you’re definitely going to want to check out the trailer above.

Update: SEGA told Famitsu that they’ll be bringing Sonic-related content to the show. Sonic Generations is included, which we now know will be released for the 3DS.

There were a few announcements at Konami’s E3 conference last year, though none of them were truly noteworthy. Might this year be different? Apparently so. According to this week’s Famitsu, Konami will be sharing reveals for existing franchises and brand new projects. The magazine states that an E3 site will open on June 3 and more information will be available next week. Konami will be hosting a pre-E3 show on June 2.

Team Ninja/Tecmo Koei also discussed some of their plans for this year’s E3. They’ll be featuring a game which already has a teaser trailer (unfortunately for Nintendo fans, this is most likely Ninja Gaiden 3), and other secrets will be revealed as well. It’s possible that some new support for the 3DS could be shown, or perhaps Project Cafe.

Famitsu could have some E3 scoops over the next couple of weeks as the trade show approaches. As always, we’ll be sure to bring you the latest information from the magazine.

Finally, the rumors can be put to rest. Following a great deal of speculation, it has been confirmed that Sonic Generations will be released for the 3DS. A snapshot of Nintendo Power’s upcoming issue shows that the title is prominently featured in the latest edition of the magazine.

The news today regarding Shinobi 3DS has also been confirmed. A LinkedIn profile revealed that Griptonite Games is handling development.

We’ll have news on both games very soon.

I should note that this is the actual European boxart for Wii Play: Motion. The item we posted last month was the box, whereas the image above is the case.
