Mighty Switch Force HD has received a final name. The official Nintendo website reveals that the downloadable Wii U eShop title will be called “Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition”.

Details from a new fact sheet can be found below.

Don’t expect a Tales game on the Wii U anytime soon. In a new interview, series producer Hideo Baba all but ruled out a new project from happenning in the near future.

Here’s what Baba said about the possibility:

“We don’t have any plans at the time [to bring the Tales series to Wii U]. But the Wii U is very unique hardware, which has one big screen [on the TV] and one small screen [on the controller], but with the console for development of an RPG, the players need to play for a long time, so we need to create a game in which the gameplay will help players feel less stress.”

I honestly have no idea what Baba is talking about here. But hey, it is what it is.

Renegade Kid will be releasing a batch of free levels for Mutant Mudds in Europe this week and North America next week. New players won’t be able to access the content right away, however.

Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham confirmed on Twitter that players will need to complete the main adventure in order to access the extra DLC levels. If you haven’t done so, now’s the time to get on that!

There’s something a bit concerning with Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. It appears that the game won’t transfer over any DLC when starting a new game.

A note from Square Enix reads:

“If you start your game from ‘New Game’, the acquired reward items will be deleted along with your play data.
Furthermore, the items you have received once cannot be resent, so items you acquired in the past will not be usable. Please keep that in mind if you play a game from ‘New Game’.”

Players can acquire Bravely Default items in a few ways, as long as they belong to the Square Enix Members program.

One code is provided with the game itself and provides a new outfit. Another comes with the official soundtrack, which also offers a unique outfit. Famitsu had a code for an axe while Dengeki hosted an online survey that handed out a spear once completed.

This isn’t traditional DLC – you’re not really buying it from the eShop – but it is still bewildering. I really have no idea why Square Enix couldn’t make it so players could transfer these items over to a new game, honestly.
