Ever since Bravely Default: Flying Fairy was announced for Japan, RPG gamers overseas have been praying for a localization announcement. Thus far, Square Enix hasn’t followed through. But Siliconera’s “trusted sources” say that the 3DS title will, in fact, make it to the west.

No word on when an announcement could be made or when the title would release in North America and Europe. Let’s hope this rumor isn’t inaccurate!

Telltale acquired the rights to King’s Quest and confirmed plans to work on the series back in 2011. Those plans have since changed. Telltale sent out a statement to Digital Trends noting that it no longer intends to use the IP. Activision, King’s Quest previous owner, is now in control of the franchise once again.

A Telltale representative said in a statement:

“While we deeply love King’s Quest here at Telltale, we can confirm that we are no longer working on the franchise. There was a time last year that we investigated partnering with third party developers to produce the game as a partnership but decided against outsourcing. We are not privy to what plans Activision has for the franchise, if any.”

Interestingly, Activision may already have plans for King’s Quest. Replay games president Paul Trowe said:

“Activision’s probably not going to give us the King’s Quest rights. [Telltale] had it, and we were going to license it from them to make the remakes. Then I talked to the guys at Activision and they were like, ‘No, we’re pulling it because we’re going to do it ourselves.'”

Fast & Furious: Showdown will be quite a bit lower in price than the average game. All three console versions will be set at $39.99, according to Amazon, while the 3DS release will be available for $29.99.

Amazon has also shared Showdown’s official boxart. Take a look below:

Fast & Furious: Showdown launches on May 21.

Two Brothers is something that would seem perfect for the 3DS. The game’s Game Boy-esque art style and RPG gameplay would be more than welcome on Nintendo’s portable.

Unfortunately, Two Brothers is only for the Wii U eShop at the moment. While the developer would “love to make a 3DS game as some point”, bringing its upcoming title to the system “would require a complete remake.”

According to AckkStudios producer Andrew Allanson:

“3DS is harder, as it doesn’t support our code base, and would require a complete remake. We would love to make a 3DS game as some point though.”

More evidence has surfaced suggesting that the Guild02 games will be heading westward. Starship Damrey was rated over at the OFLC, with Level-5 as the game’s publisher. It’s just a sign that the Guild02 releases will be making their way overseas sometime in the future.
