That was a very eventful morning… one that I wish I could have avoided! Some critical maintenance had to be done, which affected things for a few hours. Both sites were down, but thankfully that only lasted a few hours.

Upcoming Release Set to Offer Generations of WWE Enthusiasts, Platform Owners and Casual Fans an Over-the-Top, Accessible and High Impact 3D Gameplay Experience

THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced the return of WWE videogames to the handheld virtual ring with WWE(R) All Stars(TM), currently in development for Nintendo 3DS(TM). WWE All Stars will take WWE action to the next dimension with fun, fluid and furious arcade-style gameplay in a handheld format, complete with 3D graphics capabilities and two exclusive modes. In addition, WWE All Stars will feature a power-packed roster of colorful WWE Legends and prominent current-day WWE Superstars, including 13 WWE playable characters offered as downloadable content for the Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation(R)3 computer entertainment system earlier this year. WWE All Stars for Nintendo 3DS is currently scheduled for release on November 22, 2011.

Excitebots: Trick Racing has been a North American exclusive for over two years. That’s changing now, as the title has become a reward on the Japanese Club Nintendo website.

Named “Excite Mou-Machine”, Nintendo has started offering the game for 1,000 points.

This is a complete Club Nintendo exclusive. Nintendo won’t be offering the title outside of the rewards service.

Nintendo has announced the full lineup of free NES games for 3DS Ambassadors in Japan. The titles are:

Super Mario Bros.
Donkey Kong Jr.
Balloon Fight
Ice Climber
The Legend of Zelda
Wrecking Crew

Metroid
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Nintendo has said that all ten titles will be available on September 1… as in this Thursday. That should end any speculation that all of the games wouldn’t be released on the same day.

Dementium saw the release of two critically successful titles on the DS. Now Renegade Kid would like to bring the franchise to Nintendo’s newest portable. In order for that to happen though, the studio needs some support.

Renegade Kid is asking its fans to send in emails to SouthPeak Interactive through the company’s website. You can find a contact form here. Yup, that’s all. You can follow the Dementium 3D Facebook page for any updates.

So, let Operation Dementium 3DS begin! Sorry that I couldn’t think of a more clever campaign name!
