This information comes from David Perry’s Twitter account…

“Excited about the Nintendo 3DS. I’ve got the Fuji 3D Camera with the same tech. It’s cool and I’ve been wanting to see it used for games.”

Perry is most likely referring to the FinePix REAL 3D W1 camera, which used a “Parallax Barrier System” to display 3D images. Since the 3DS was announced, the system has been rumored to be using similar technology. The only question is, can we trust Perry’s words completely? We’ll have to wait a little longer for a confirmation at Nintendo’s E3 presentation in June.

“If there was the possibility, I’d be very interested [in creating a game for Nintendo]. But I’d have to be able to create an original title.” – Suda51

Yeah, I’m not too sure how well Mario and Travis Touchdown would mix. But maybe the first step for Suda51’s wish is to get Travis in the next Smash Bros. game!

Wario™ may be known as a troublemaker, but this week he deserves a friendly high-five for helping to deliver a mother lode of downloadable fun for Wii™ owners. The new WarioWare™: D.I.Y. Showcase game for the WiiWare™ service lets users with broadband Internet access download all kinds of outrageous content, from music and microgames to four-panel digital comics – some created by users themselves. Meanwhile, a classic RPG has arrived on the Virtual Console™ service, while Nintendo DSiWare™ users will find new ways to tune musical instruments, rescue turtles, launch their own fireworks display and more.

This week also marks the kickoff of Nintendo’s WarioWare: D.I.Y. “Big Name Games” series. Several of the industry’s most talented game designers are using WarioWare: D.I.Y. software for the Nintendo DS™ family of systems to create their own one-of-a-kind microgames. New microgames will be added every Monday through July 26, all available for download to anyone with broadband Internet access and a copy of either WarioWare: D.I.Y. for Nintendo DS or WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase software for the WiiWare service. The series gets underway with inventive new microgames from Super Smash Bros.™ creator Masahiro Sakurai and Metroid™ designer Yoshio Sakamoto. Shigeru Miyamoto was present at the New Super Mario Bros. Wii Coin Battle tournament finals in Japan. The tournament, which has been going on since February, finally ended yesterday. After all was said and done, Miyamoto had a few words to share about the tournament and New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

“It was incredible! I watched with excitement, similar to watching the Olympics on television and cheering on the curlers. We made this game thinking that we wanted people to play while communicating with one anothe. But with just that, the gamer spirit would not rest, so we added the Coin Battle elements towards the end. This tournament does not give you the time to look at your surroundings. That is okay today. However, we want Mario to be enjoyed together. Today, we’ve all gathered here, so let’s hold hands. In particular, hold hands with the team that was your rival just now I originally did industrial design, and wanted to make tools — things that could be used to draw the Koopa Troopas, for instance. So, this game was made as a tool that everyone can play, rather than as a game that you strategize to clear. Tools are useful because everyone uses them. Play is like this. Even a single stick can be fun if everyone plays together. We plan on continuing to make this type of product, and would be happy if you’d play and play and build up what we’ve made into something even more interesting.”

THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE’S SEMINAL LP AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE BLAZES ONTO ROCK BAND

PLUS NEW “VALLEYS OF NEPTUNE” SINGLE FROM NEW HENDRIX ALBUM

JIMI HENDRIX NOW EXCLUSIVE TO ROCK BAND PLATFORM

Cambridge, Mass. – March 26, 2010 – Harmonix and MTV Games today announced The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s classic album, Axis: Bold As Love, along with the new Jimi Hendrix single, “Valleys of Neptune” from the new album will be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™. Additionally, Jimi Hendrix’s music is now exclusive to Rock Band with more songs coming to its industry-leading platform in the future.

Hendrix’s music continues to resonate with music fans everywhere as proven by the long-awaited album of previously unavailable Jimi Hendrix studio recordings, Valleys of Neptune, which debuted last week on the Billboard 200 best-selling albums chart at #4. Moreover, four additional Hendrix catalog titles – Are You Experienced (#44), Electric Ladyland (#60), First Rays of the New Rising Sun (#63), and Axis: Bold As Love (#67) – have returned to the Billboard 200 four decades after their original release dates, a testimony to the enduring vitality and importance of the trailblazing artist-guitarist-performer.
